Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Glencoe, MN
Shift: Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts
Duration: 13 Weeks

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Glencoe, Minnesota. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative critical access hospital environment while providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process.

The ideal candidate will be confident in a fast-paced clinical setting and committed to patient-centered maternal care.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn patients
Monitor maternal and fetal conditions during labor and delivery
Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
Assist physicians and healthcare providers during labor, delivery, and emergency procedures
Assess patient conditions, identify complications, and respond appropriately
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Ensure a safe, compassionate, and patient-focused environment
Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Critical Access Hospital or travel nursing experience preferred
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Strong fetal monitoring and emergency response skills preferred
Ability to work independently in a dynamic clinical setting
Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
