Delivers safe, compassionate, evidence-based care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.Demonstrates the knowledge and clinical judgment necessary to care for patients across the lifespan by assessing patient needs, recognizing changes in condition, developing individualized plans of care, educating patients and families, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.Prioritize care for patients with varying levels of acuity while recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition.Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient response.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning.Delegate appropriate responsibilities to LPNs and LNAs while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation.Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in emergency and non-emergency situations.Maintain current clinical competencies through required education and continuing professional development.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a culture of teamwork, safety, and excellence.QualificationsEducationPreferred: Associates or better in Nursing or related field.Licenses & CertificationsRequired: ACLS, Basic Life SupportPreferred: RN LicenseEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
