About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical PM Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg/telemetry/PCU. License: RN License required. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Must have EPIC EMR/charting experience. - Must have at least 1 year of travel nursing experience. - 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years. - Experience with ratios of 1:4-6. Description: This position requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical/Surgical, telemetry, or PCU. Candidates must possess EPIC EMR/charting experience. A minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience is required. Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the past 5 years. Experience with patient-to-nurse ratios typically ranging from 1:4 to 1:6 is necessary. The RN will be assigned to a Medical/Surgical unit based on their experience. The patient populations include medicine, surgery, cardiac, and neurology. The position involves working 36 hours per week, typically consisting of 3 - 12 hour shifts. Every other weekend work is expected. The RN is anticipated to float to other equivalent units as needed. Ratios in the unit usually range from 1:5 to 1:6.
