Polysomnographic Technologist, Registered

Seeking a qualified Sleep Technologist to perform diagnostic polysomnographic (PSG), titration, MSLT, and MWT studies to aid in diagnosing sleep/wake disorders. Responsibilities Include Recording and analyzing sleep data, providing accurate information to physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment. Educating patients on prescribed therapies and following up when necessary. Operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining sleep testing equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with standards. Monitoring and documenting patient data per facility guidelines. Understanding disease processes, working with diverse age groups, and supervising students or staff as needed. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited program in Electroneurodiagnostic or Respiratory Technology preferred. At least two years of experience in sleep disorders preferred. Knowledge of sleep disorders, electrical safety, and proficiency with computers for data management. Certification requirements include RPSGT or Sleep Disorder Specialty (RRT-SDS) within two years or enrollment in accredited polysomnography training programs. Licensure in applicable states, with mandatory continuing education and BLS certification within 60 days.
