Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel TRAVEL - Cath Lab Tech (746) - HCA HealthONE Aurora - 7A - 5P - Rotating W/E Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - Cath lab 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath / EP suites Number of Staff – 16 Type of staff: Day Shift - day shift 6:30 to 5:30 Night Shift - rotating on call Patient Ratios - 3 staff to 1 patient. Cath Lab procedural area Type of equipment – Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 6 months’ current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience BLS & ACLS ARRT (R) RCIS or RCES If they have the RCIS or RCES, they must be willing and able to apply for register as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA before they start working Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred Scrubbing and monitoring skills and experience Prior Meditech experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): LHC, RHC, EP ablations Pacers, ICD’s, Cardioversions, TEE’s Tilt Table Tests. EP /Structural Heart / Monitoring skills and Right Heart monitoring. Best personality Fit: Positive, not afraid to work hard Engaged in high quality patient care experience Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
