Pharmacist

Georges Pharmacy is a family owned and operated business dedicated to providing home medical equipment, prescription medication, respiratory services, insurance, and home modification solutions throughout Indiana and into Ohio and Kentucky. Customer service is a core value. Seeking knowledgeable staff that is dedicated to treating customers like family and providing a positive and caring experience. Pharmacist will work at our Versailles store. Travel to other Ripley County stores will be required as necessary, such as Milan and Batesville. Store Hours 9am - 6pm M-F. Every other Saturday 9am - 2pm. Salary will be based on knowledge and experience.

• Responsibilities:*
• Execute day to day operation in pharmacy
• Check for completeness and accuracy of all new and refill orders.
• Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
• Assist in the proper ordering, handling ,receiving, documentation and storage of all controlled substances; assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory of schedule II drugs.
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*

• Doctor of Pharmacy required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient computer skills using pharmaceutical software

*REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:*

* Three (3) year of experience in medical equipment or equivalent experience in the Pharmacy industry preferred

*REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:*

State of Indiana Pharmacy License

*PHYSICAL DEMANDS:*

• 1. Standing and walking throughout facility
• 2. Operation of office equipment
• 3. Occasionally lift/move items up to 40 pounds
• 4. Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision
