Broadmoor East Veterinary Clinic in Cheyenne, Wyoming, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative, tight-knit team. In our non-corporate environment, you’ll have the freedom to make medical decisions based on your clinical judgment and the needs of your patients, without the constraints of rigid protocols.

We offer a full spectrum of services, including routine wellness care, orthopedic surgeries, and 24/7 emergency care. Our team fosters a positive, family-like atmosphere focused on teamwork and professional growth, with a 2:1 support staff to doctor ratio.

Key Responsibilities
- Treat, and prevent an array of diseases and illnesses for both small and exotic animals
- Conduct tests and observations to provide a proper diagnoses
- Prescribe necessary medications
- Administer vaccines to prevent common diseases
- Perform soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures
- Perform spay and neuter surgeries
- Communicate with animal owners to answer questions and educate them on situations and treatment plans
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to provide top-notch care to customers
- Participate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule (approximately 1 week/month)
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree (MRCVS, VMD) from an accredited veterinary program
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Wyoming
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in small animal medicine required, proficiency in exotics preferred
- Interest in orthopedic and emergency care is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Availability for occasional Saturdays and rotating on-call duty
- A team-oriented approach and a genuine passion for animal care
