Job Description Far Out Ice Cream's Events & Catering program is hiring for the Supervisor position. This is a customer facing role in which you are bringing product to various events and serving it to our clients. Events Supervisor Responsibilities Staff all Far Out Events & Catering opportunities, including weekly markets and private events. Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers and answering questions about our menu and offerings Safely drive our van to events venues Help the Events Manager to prepare for events, including prepping products, printing menus, and packing the van. Maintain Far Out’s clean and professional appearance at each event Operate point-of-sale system and handle cash/card transactions Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety and cleanliness Participate in team meetings and training sessions Other duties as assigned Far Out Events Supervisor Expectations Customer-Centric Approach: Treat every customer interaction as an opportunity to create a positive and memorable experience. Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to the presentation of our products and the cleanliness of our store. A well‑maintained environment enhances the overall customer experience. Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the Events Manager and any teammates to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, contributing to a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for both customers and staff.
