Often, FCS leads the nation in initiating research studies and offering ground-breaking new therapies to patients.Come join us today!RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible to assist in the organization and implementation of all aspects related to Managed Care/Patient Financial Navigator Team LeadAct as Team Lead for assigned staff including Trainers, Floats and newly acquired Managed Care Staff.Act as a resource person for all office staff and patients in resolving Managed Care issues.performs the daily tasks of Patient Financial Navigator, acting as Float and/or Trainer as necessary in any assigned Florida Cancer Specialist (FCS) office.This position does require travel and stay overnight at other FCS locations, as needed.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GED. -Experience working in a healthcare field (preferably in a clinical setting or business office) is required. -Excellent verbal and communication skills needed. -Insurance knowledge requirements include: understanding of medical terminology, managed care authorization process, ICD and CPT codes, ability to calculate and collect patients' financial responsibility and insurance co-pay/coinsurance. -Onco/EMR and Centricity experience a plus.#LI-AL1#FCS-REVSCREENINGS – Background, drug, and nicotine screensSafeguarding our patients and each other is an important part of how we deliver the best care possible to the communities we serve.
