Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Sun City, Arizona
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Schedule: 36 hours per week
Travel Requirement: Must reside 50+ miles from Sun City, AZ to qualify for travel package

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel assignment in Sun City, Arizona. This position offers 36 hours per week on a day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM).

The ideal candidate will be experienced in caring for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing care, while demonstrating flexibility to float between two campuses as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit

• Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Float between two campuses as required

Requirements

• Active Arizona RN license (or compact state license)

• Minimum 1–2 years of recent PCU experience

• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)

• Strong cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills

• Ability to adapt to floating between campuses

• Must reside 50+ miles from Sun City, AZ to qualify for travel package
