Live in Aide (HHA/ PCA)

Caring Connections Home Care is in need of LIVE-IN Certified Home Health Aides/ Personal Care Aides to provide care to clients that reside in Rockland County & Orange County, NY. We are actively seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our exceptional team. Our mission is to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their homes, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. Requirements Provide personalized care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort. Monitor and report changes in clients' health and behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and supportive relationship. Assist with medications as directed and maintain accurate records of care provided. Scheduling doctor's appointments if requested by the client Transport clients to medical appointments, errands, and social activities as needed. High school diploma or equivalent Must have a valid PCA or HHA Certificate. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures Experience working with patients in hospice care, memory care, or those with developmental disabilities is a plus Ability to lift and move patients safely Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must speak English fluently. Must have reliable transportation to commute to clients' homes. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are highly preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality caregiving. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
