About the Role:

Serenity Counseling Services of Virginia is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our growing team in Richmond, VA. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans under supervision of an LMHP

Provide direct therapeutic services and crisis intervention to clients

Monitor and document client progress, updating care plans as clinically appropriate

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, case managers, and community resources to coordinate client care

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards

Facilitate individual and/or group sessions using evidence-based practices

Participate in staff meetings, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development

Requirements:

Must meet Virginia QMHP eligibility requirements (relevant degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field)

Experience providing direct mental health services in a clinical or community-based setting

Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities

Strong clinical documentation and case management skills

Ability to conduct mental health skill building sessions and develop individualized service plans

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and crisis intervention skills

Active QMHP certification (may be QMHP-Trainee)
