Our Facilities team is seeking an exceptional individual to join them as a Facilities and Purchasing Technician, based out of our offices in Norway, ME.

In this critical role, you'll assist with the cleaning and overall appearance of the Main Office and Operations Center, and assist with the purchasing and inventory control for supplies and services needed in the day-to-day operation of the bank. Additionally, you'll play a key role in the delivery and documentation of maintenance services to bank properties, equipment and related activities, maintaining accurate records and data entry in all Facilities and Purchasing duties.

Key Pieces of the Position:

• Cleans, sweeps/vacuums, and/or dusts all customer areas including the lobby, offices, vestibules, drive-thru, ATM and walk up.
• Picks up and delivers mail to and from Post Office and Main Office/Operations Center. Sorts incoming mail at the Main Office and Operations Center. Processes outgoing mail at the Main Office. Mail is collected in bins than can weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Accurately accounts for official checks & money orders.
• Restocks supplies as needed including moving boxes of paper weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Reviews and approves routine invoices in the absence of the VP, Facilities & Purchasing using Director Workflow.
• Researches banking and maintenance products for best value and purchases same.
• Reviews and approves branch supply orders.
• Provides clerical support and website data entry and tracking for Iron Mountain shipping and retention.
• Possesses knowledge of ergonomic design (or willingness to obtain) and assists with workstation set up.
• Inspects buildings and grounds for any possible repairs or problems and contacts approved vendors for corrective action.
• Maintains branch vendor lists.
• Maintains adequate storage levels at Branches and Operations Center.
• Performs Custodial duties at the Main Office and Operations Center as needed to cover vacations and other needs.
• Clears and shovels snow and ice including operating a walk behind snow-blower and applies salt or melting chemical to walks in winter. Requires lifting/moving bags weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Available and able to travel to various locations for maintenance issues and/or delivery assignments. Mileage reimbursement applies.

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess and maintain a clean driving record and must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to understand policies, procedures, and related information; and to provide and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent, verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be available for on-call weekend and after-hour emergencies on a rotating basis.

Other Requirements:

• Lifting and handling of materials and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Requires the ability to work with hazardous materials while wearing proper PPE.
• Ability to perform job duties including frequent bending, walking, twisting, climbing stairs and working from ladders.
• Schedule will be Monday-Friday. Available weekends, as needed, on a revolving schedule.
• Provides own transportation to all locations as needed.
• Valid driver's license and required automobile insurance coverage.

Pay: Starting at $20.50 per hour with flexibility commensurate with experience.

Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable. Physical effort required; normally works standing up with freedom of movement on a regular basis; lifting and handling of materials and supplies; requires lifting bending, walking, twisting, climbing of stairs and ladders.
