Join KMI and be part of a company that values safety, integrity and quality.**Job Description:****Summary:*** The individual will be working at various asphalt plants and terminals in the Central Ohio region, supporting production of hot-mix asphalt through plant upgrades, maintenance and repairs.* Working environment is a combination of indoor and outdoor.**\*\* *This role will be 1st shift with the potential for nights and weekends*. \*\*****Essential Functions and Responsibilities:*** Work both supervised and unsupervised* Perform tasks in a timely manner* Work both efficiently and safely while adhering to applicable OSHA/MSHA guidelines* Must value his and other team members’ safety as the number 1 priority* Work in various environments* Operate company equipment* Submit necessary paperwork as needed* Complete necessary training as prescribed by the company* Get along with others and represent the company in a positive manner* Follow direction of supervisors and other project team members* Willing to fill in, when needed, to perform other duties at the Asphalt Plant (Ground Man or Loader Man)**Qualifications:****Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:*** Must have knowledge of Asphalt Plant Operations* Ability to work nights and weekends* Must have cutting and welding experience (Mig, Tig & Stick) and be able to pass certification* Must have mechanical knowledge* Ability to interpret drawings, welding symbols & specifications* Crane rigging and signaling certification* Able to work in confined spaces.* Lockout tagout experience and/or certification* Class B CDL* Able to operate manlifts and work in elevated areas* Possess a clean driving record* Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screenings on demand* Must be able to work alone or with large groups of team members* Able to work in all environments.
