Companion Caregiver | San Diego North County

We're Whole Life Home Care, a compassionate in-home care agency serving families throughout San Diego North County. We're looking for a warm, reliable Companion Caregiver who understands that sometimes the greatest gift you can give a client is your time, your attention, and a genuine human connection.

What You'll Do
- Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support that reduces isolation and brightens daily life
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, social outings, and community activities
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization
- Help with meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Provide medication reminders and monitor overall well-being
- Engage clients in hobbies, conversation, games, and activities they enjoy
- Offer family members peace of mind knowing their loved one is in caring, capable hands
- A genuine passion for people; this is the most important qualification
- 1+ year of caregiving, companion care, or related experience (preferred)
- Patient, warm, and emotionally intuitive; you read a room naturally
- Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
- Valid California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration
- Current TB test and CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
