Schedule flexibility is preferred.Responsibilities:· Ensure both internal and external areas are clean and safe· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and manage waste disposal· Keep an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and place orders as neededQualifications:Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:· Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years if responsible for driving a van)· High school diploma or GED is required· Prior cleaning experience is preferredDiscover where your passion and a career at Bright Horizons can lead you – all in an inclusive workplace where you can be you. Apply today and explore the possibilities!Physical Requirements:This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons’, and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center.· Frequently lift or move average weight as in lifting, carrying, and holding children and infants (10 to 40 lbs.)· Occasionally move or lift average weight (10 to 50 lbs.) in awkward or difficult position· May be required to stand up for 95% of the day· Must be able to interact with children on the playground or in a classroom (i.e., run, jump, etc.)· Able to physically and mentally react immediately to unexpected circumstances· Seek assistance to perform physical demands of the job if necessary, (i.e., lifting or moving heavy weights)· Must be able to stoop and bend to interact on child's levelCompensation:The hourly rate for this position is between $14.00 - $17.50 per hour. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening.
