Overview
Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Nuclear Medicine, Rochester, NY, United States. Start date: July 6, 2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Pay: $2,780-$3,048 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday; some procedures may extend to 4:30 pm. This travel assignment is in a hospital setting and is managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. No on-call or weekend requirements.

Responsibilities
- Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care; explain procedures, ensuring comfort and maintaining safety.
- Acquire and process diagnostic images; perform daily quality control; maintain radiopharmacy operations within NYSDOH guidelines.
- Manage and document patient data in the electronic medical record; ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Partner with leadership to implement new technologies and continuously enhance imaging protocols.
- Conduct specialized studies including SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis imaging, and a hybrid SPECT resting study followed by PET viability/sarcoid imaging.

Requirements
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license required.
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience; 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program preferred.
- BLS Certification required.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
