Bus Driver Chula Vista, CA Pay and Benefits $22.13–$30.80 per hour Starting pay $22.13 with progression to $30.80 over 3 years Full‑time paid training to obtain a commercial driver’s license Professional development opportunities, including ongoing training and potential internal promotion PTO: up to 35 days per year, based on years of service and hours worked Paid Sick Leave: 40 hours per year Medical, dental & vision after 90 days of employment Life insurance and 401(k) retirement benefits Company holidays Key Responsibilities Execute safe, on‑time operations by following designated routes, schedules, and traffic regulations Provide exceptional passenger care, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections pre‑ and post‑trip, reporting maintenance issues and maintaining cleanliness and safety equipment Enforce seat‑belt usage, emergency response preparedness, and other company policies and regulatory mandates Other duties as required Qualifications 21 years of age or older Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL Class B with passenger and air‑brake endorsements Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional) Excellent communication and customer‑service skills Availability to work day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts as assigned Physical Requirements Work shifts or flexible schedules as needed Sit for extended periods of time Drive in traffic and in all weather conditions Lift, push, pull, and carry items above shoulder level without assistance Move up and down stairs easily Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping Work in a combination of indoor and outdoor environments Transdev is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
