Job Skills / Requirements HIRING IMMEDIATELY Unarmed Flex Security Officers in the Charlotte and Pineville, NC area. 2nd and 3rd shifts available. Starting pay rate of $16.00/hr with weekly pay. Requirements Valid NC Armed Security Officer License/Certification (preferred). High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to pass drug screening and criminal background check. Must have good communication skills, including phone etiquette and basic computer skills. Good customer service skills and professional appearance. Must have open availability for FLEX Officer Position. Position requires ability to work at two locations. Flex Officer Explanation The Flex Officer position is crucial to Sunstates’ operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts that become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables continuous service to our customers while protecting the health and work‑balance of our personnel. The position may require occasional weekend work. Scheduling Expectations You will be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need; assignments are temporary. Your schedule will vary based on operational need. You will be assigned to shifts as they become available due to staffing needs. Some shifts are scheduled in advance; others may be called on short notice. Work any scheduled shift that falls within your availability. Communicate unavailability promptly. For short‑notice call‑ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of calls. Refusing more than 20% of shifts may negatively impact employment status. Education Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Certification Requirements PPSB Training Certification.
