Position Overview
We are looking for a Family Medicine Physician to enhance our vibrant care team. This position involves delivering patient-focused, high-quality medical care and acting as a clinical resource for other physicians, mid-level providers, and nursing staff. The physician will adhere to our organization’s policies and procedures, contributing to the mission of a Patient-Centered Medical Home.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive medical services, including routine check-ups, acute illness consultations, family planning, and more.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
Prepare billing charges and complete tasks in accordance with organizational policies.
Make appropriate referrals for testing, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
Engage in daily team meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
Supervise and mentor residents, medical students, and allied health professionals.
Support readiness for accreditation and achievement of clinical goals.
Oversee clinical care provided by mid-level providers, laboratory staff, and nursing personnel.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited medical school and residency program.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Valid Medical License in the State of Florida and DEA Registration Certificate.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (Board Certification must be obtained within one year if eligible).
Dedication to ongoing education and maintaining continuing education credits.
