Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Liberty, MO

Shift: 12-hour nights, 1845-0715

Hours/Week: 36 hours/week

Employment Type: Temporary/Contract

License/Certs: Valid RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required

Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent PCU RN experience; high acuity drip experience preferred, including arterial line, Bipap-Airvo

Floats: First to float to a lesser unit if needed

Weekend Work: Every other weekend required

Holidays: Work major holidays; schedule adjustments possible

On-call: Not required

Rate: $88.50/hour (before applicable administrative fees)

Pay Schedule: Weekly via direct deposit

Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU patients with a focus on high acuity cases

Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage complex treatments such as drips and arterial lines

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care

Follow established protocols to ensure safety and regulatory compliance

Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly

Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed

Valid RN license in Missouri or compact state

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required

At least 1 year of recent PCU RN experience including high-acuity drips

Strong clinical skills in arterial lines, Bipap, Airvo, and high-acuity patient management

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience working in high-volume or academic medical centers
