Lead Platform Engineer

About the Team Our team offers secure virtual endpoints to thousands of Capital One and third party associates that are accessible from multiple devices, accelerating business productivity, workflow continuity, supporting hybrid work models, and centralizing data protection to meet rigorous compliance standards. What You'll Do Deployment, management and maintenance of virtualization platform Amazon Workspaces in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Escalate and drive issues related to support of virtualization platforms Join high severity incident calls and lead troubleshooting efforts for a quick recovery Identify, diagnose and resolve Windows based desktop vulnerabilities; monitor, troubleshoot, and elevate production problems as per operations processes affecting desktop infrastructure Work collaboratively with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and implement improvements Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT systems and services the team Train users on software and promote IT policies and procedures Engage in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, and system tuning Excellent problem solving, oral, and written communications Basic Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification At least 6 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or Artifactory) At least 4 years of experience with AWS At least 2 years of team leadership experience Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience with AWS 2+ years of experience in Agile practices The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Plano, TX: $149,800 - $171,000. Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or nondiscretionary depending on the plan.
