This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to manage multiple patient conditions, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.Unit Details:Patient Population: General Medical/Surgical and Telemetry patientsPatient Ratios: Up to 6 patients per nurse (based on staffing)Telemetry Monitoring: Central monitoring with Tele Tech supportRequired Experience:Minimum 2 years of RN Medical/Surgical experienceFirst-time travelers acceptedRequired Licensure & Certifications:Active RN LicenseBLS – RequiredNIHSS – RequiredACLS – PreferredRequired Skills & Competencies:Cardiac rhythm interpretationTracheostomy careChest tube managementIV medication management including:Lasix dripsInsulin dripsHeparin dripsWound VAC managementStrong general Med/Surg skillsetSupport & Resources:CNAs/Patient Care TechsHealth Unit Coordinators (HUC)Charge NurseRapid Response TeamPhlebotomy for peripheral lab drawsFloating:May float to any Medical/Surgical unitAssignments coordinated through the House SupervisorTechnology & Equipment:EMR: EPICIV Pumps: AlarisMedication Dispensing: PyxisOrientation:1 shift (facility and unit orientation)Schedule Details:Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AMSchedule Cycle: 6 weeksWeekend Rotation: Every other weekendHolidays: Every other major holidayOn-Call: NoneTime Off (RTO):Up to 7 days of RTO approved with contract extension if neededDress Code:Any solid color scrubs (no logos)
