Description:

Position Objective(s): To inspect of all products according to procedure and ensure all products leaving facility meets or exceeds Palmer Hamilton’s quality standards.

Position Functions:

• Inspect products according to standard operating procedure.
• Record nonconforming product in Nonconformance (NC) App.
• Perform minor repairs and rework on tables.
• Record all products inspected in inspection log.
• Move product to Shipping Department once inspected.
• Perform various tasks as assigned by management.

Position Expectations:

• Zero product shipped from facility with defects or sub-standard quality present.
• Notify Lead or Manager of ongoing Quality Issues.
• Inspection log maintained accurately.
• Perform duties timely to meet shipping demands.
• Willingness to be a team player.

Qualifications:

• High level of attention to detail necessary
• Ability to work with little supervision and in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Basic organizational skills
• Basic communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Up to 1/3 of the time:

• Sit
• Lift up to 20 pounds
• Operate computer

• Lift up to 35 pounds
• Close vision

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals
• Loud noise level

1/3 to 2/3 of the time:

• Moderate noise level

2/3 or more of the time:

• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
