Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy
Schedule: 3x12 Nights
Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Respiratory Therapy
- Licensed as CRT or RRT
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS
- Clinical competencies: mask fitting, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, O2 saturation monitoring, recognition/management of Cheyne-Stokes and periodic breathing
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform airway management and mechanical ventilation.
- Conduct ABG collection and interpretation.
- Provide tracheostomy care and non-invasive ventilation support (CPAP/BiPAP/HFNC).
- Administer aerosol therapies and suctioning to patients of all ages.
- Evaluate and monitor respiratory status and implement appropriate interventions.
Compliance / Notes:
- References: 2 references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required.
- Pre-start competency modules required (average ~16 hours).
- Any requested time off must be included with initial submittal.
