Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all nursing personnel operations, fostering a positive and productive team environment Actively participate in treatment planning processes and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinicians Oversee all record-­keeping and documentation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic goals for the nursing department Contribute to budget formulation and resource allocation decisions for staffing, professional development, equipment, and supplies Stay current on nursing trends and emerging best practices in healthcare Establish new policies and update existing ones to enhance patient care standards Jointly create, execute, and supervise the facility's Infection Control Plan Plan and oversee admission, nursing, and patient care processes Address nursing-related issues promptly and effectively Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and adherence to physician orders Oversee and document patient medication self-­administration Arrange appropriate medical attention and follow-up care as needed Communicate efficiently across departments to align with client treatment goals Demonstrate crisis intervention and de-­escalation skills when needed Actively participate in treatment team meetings to share progress and collaborate on ongoing care Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and clients Ensure adherence to all compliance standards and regulations Hire, train, and evaluate nursing staff; prepare detailed performance reports Support and mentor staff to create a positive, inclusive work environment Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience) Current RN License BLS Certification (required) CPR and AED Certification Minimum 3-5 years of acute care nursing experience Prior Charge Nurse experience required Minimum 2 years in a similar Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor role Valid driver's license Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities In-depth knowledge of healthcare legal policies and regulations Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude High moral and ethical standards Ability to work collaboratively as an integral part of a team Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes Appropriate professional boundaries and mature judgment Preferred Qualifications CPI Certification Prior experience in Addictions Nursing and/or Mental Health Nursing Previous management experience as a Nursing Supervisor or Nurse Manager Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth Physical Requirements The physical demands of this position include: Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds Ability to assist in 1:1 patient transfers Routine mobility including standing, stooping, bending, lifting, walking, and running Regularly sitting and working at a computer/phone workstation Proficiency with office equipment including copy machines, multi-line phones, computers, and fax machines Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
