Job Title: Route Driver - Class A CDL or For Hire Endorsement for Straight Truck Location: New Haven, Indiana Company: All Temp Transport, Inc. Job Type: Full-Time, Part- Time, Casual Driver FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Pay: Class A CDL - Up to $30/Hour, Depending on Experience Straight Truck - up to $25/Hour, Depending on Experience - For Hire Endorsement Required Sign On Bonus Hours: Dispatch Times Vary - Routes Dispatch 3 am - 6 am Four Day Work Week: Tuesday to Friday Home Every Night About Us: We are a candy, tobacco and grocery distributor who values our Employees and Customers. Our Drivers serve an important role in serving the Convenience Store distribution chain. Job Description: We are seeking experienced Route Drivers to join our distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to various convenience store locations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our great customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. Apply today to be an important part of our strong Distribution Team! Key Considerations and Description of the Work Involved: Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products. Unload product from our trucks by hand, or using a lift gate, and transfer the products using a two-wheel cart into the stores. Convey the products to the designated area in the store. Confirm with our customers the tote, case and carton quantities listed on the delivery manifest are accurate. Our trucks are pallet loaded and hand unloaded. On occasion, orders are delivered to a receiving dock. Verify delivery instructions and follow designated routes. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Provide excellent customer service to store personnel during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies. Assist in the warehouse as needed. Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must pass D.O.T. physical, drug screen and background check. If Non-Class A CDL, a For Hire Endorsement is a must High school diploma or equivalent. Previous delivery driving experience of at least one year. Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs). Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
