Line Operator

Position Title Machine Operator Department Production Reports To Department Supervisor Summary Performs production operations such as running presses, spirals and packing, feeding blanks and rewinding coil. Visually inspects product for defects using various required gauges. Duties and Responsibilities Checking product quality and identifying non‑conforming products. Maintains production flow by efficiently operating equipment to produce and package products. Responsible for shutting down machines when a quality issue is detected and immediately seeks assistance from set‑up mechanic, quality inspector, or supervisor. Maintains a clean area for an efficient and safe work environment. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to follow directions and read and understand written instructions. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Mental/Visual/Physical Demands Exposure to temperature changes due to weather conditions, noise and dust. May be in contact with oil and other substances, which must be handled appropriately.
