Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Cottondale, Alabama. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel 13-week contract | Nights 7p-7a 36 or 48 hrs/week; every other weekend holidays $80/hr bill rate 2 years recent CVICU experience required ASN degree required AHA BLS NIHSS required; PALS preferred for pediatric assignments AL or Compact RN license in hand — no temporary licenses Meditech charting Cardiac Surgical ICU: post-op cardiac, thoracic, vascular and complex surgical patients Strong invasive hemodynamic monitoring and critical-care skills required Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per contract OT after 48 hours, regardless of 36- or 48-hour schedule Dysrhythmia exam: 2 attempts allowed; failure to pass results in contract cancellation 16 hours non-billable orientation Locals accepted with no rate difference Biweekly orientation About Prime Time Healthcare Nursing Prime Time Healthcare is a leading provider of traveling healthcare professionals nationwide.
