(Senior) Medical Science Liaison - Ophthalmology (Southern CA, AZ, NM)

Medical Science Liaison role within US Medical Affairs, engaging key medical experts and healthcare professionals in Southern California, Arizona, and New Mexico to communicate clinical evidence for Biogen's therapies and support informed clinical decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with key medical experts and healthcare professionals
- Develop and execute KME engagement plans aligned with US Medical Affairs strategy and objectives
- Document and report medical insights from stakeholder interactions using Veeva CRM system
- Serve as responsive, solutions-driven resource for clinical leaders and medical community partners
- Support qualitative and quantitative performance goals and medical excellence standards
Requirements
- Doctoral-level degree (OD, MD, PhD, PharmD, or DNP) required
- Clinical experience and expertise in optometry or ophthalmology strongly preferred
- Residency within Southern California, Arizona, or New Mexico territory required
- Advanced communication skills; ability to engage diverse stakeholders credibly
- Comfort with technology and digital tools; willingness to learn new systems
- Demonstrated ability to meet performance metrics and KPIs
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; authorization to drive company vehicles
Compensation: $146,000–$195,500 base
