CNC Machine Operator (Press Brake / Turret)

Location: Alexandria, Pataskala, Etna, Johnstown
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: [1st / 2nd / 3rd Shift Available]

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator with experience operating Press Brakes, Turret Punch Press machines, and other CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in producing high-quality parts, maintaining safe work practices, and working in a fast-paced production setting.

The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC Press Brakes, Turret Punch Press machines, and related fabrication equipment
• Set up machines, tools, and materials according to job specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product accuracy and consistency
• Maintain production records and report any issues to supervisors
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards
• Assist with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
• Keep work area clean and organized in accordance with 5S practices

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience operating CNC machines, Press Brakes, Turret Punch Press, or similar equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Experience with precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication
• CNC programming knowledge (a plus)
• Familiarity with AMADA, Trumpf, or similar CNC machinery
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
