Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 6 AM to 4:30 PMWhat You'll Be Doing:Perform a variety of routine maintenance tasksTroubleshoot and solve mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC issues on various equipment and/or recognize when the issue requires a specialized technicianPerform Preventive Maintenance tasks to determine whether failures or issues are present and determine how soon the corrections/adjustments may need to be madeTroubleshoot equipment breakdowns to identify root cause(s) and suggest appropriate follow-up actionsReading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, mechanical drawings, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance workAssemble and disassemble equipment to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace with new items while maintaining safety and production goalsIdentify failed components and determine necessary replacement partsInteract directly with production and other plant teammates in a professional mannerUtilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System to receive work instructions, identify that belong to machines, and fully document work performedComply with all safety and environmental protocols relating to operationsLocate spare parts in the storeroom and follow stock check-out processesMaintain a dedicated toolbox and shared maintenance tools and supplies in an organized manner so that materials can be accessed quickly and reliablyTroubleshoot, install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights and wiringInspect, test, and diagnose issues with electrical systems and componentsTest electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioningUtilize various testing devices including Digital Multimeters, Ammeters, Voltmeters, Meggers, and Thermal ScannersOperate hand and power toolsCalculate basic mathematical problemsWhat We Are Looking For:High School diplomaFive or more years' experience in an industrial environment as a maintenance employee performing Preventive (planned) and Corrective (unplanned) MaintenanceThree or more years electrical experience in an industrial environment and working knowledge of electrical theory and associated principles, materials and equipmentKnowledge of and experience working in all the following areas:Mechanical Power Transmission - chains, belts, gearboxes, bearings, brakes, couplings, etcLubrication - oils, greases, storage and handling, application, etcHydraulics & Pneumatics - valves, actuators, compressors and pumps, piping and tubing, gauges, etcElectrical DC Circuits – relays, contactors, power supplies, etcAC Circuits (0V to 480V) – motors, drives, transformers, etcProcess Control Industrial Automation – robotics, PID, machine control, etcPLCs & Networking – communication, signals, I/O, LANs, etcDesired: Associates degree or 2+ years of vocational trainingExperience with Predictive Maintenance technologies such as Vibration Analysis, Thermography, Ultrasound Inspection, Oil Analysis, and Precision AlignmentCertifications in mechanical/industrial fields (electrician, millwright, welding, etc)Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT)Lift 50 poundsClimb ladders, stairs, and perform duties on an elevated platformKneel, bend, reach and stoopRead, interpret, and utilize drawings and diagrams (electrical, piping, P&ID)Pass Mobile Equipment testsSit for prolonged periods of time for training and data entry purposesWhat We Offer:Competitive CompensationRetirement SavingsMedical, Dental, Disability and Life Insurance CoverageHolistic Health & Well-Being ProgramsHealth Savings Accounts (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for Health and Dependent CareVision and other Voluntary Benefits and DiscountsPaid Time Off and HolidaysPaid Parental Leave (Maternity and Paternity)Educational Assistance ProgramBuilding Inclusive Workspaces:At Amrize, there is endless opportunity for you to play your part.
