Shop TechnicianClean Response puts people's lives back together. After a property has suffered damage from a fire, flood or similar tragedy, our team helps the property owner recover by cleaning up, drying out, and rebuilding. We are seeking a full-time Shop Technician. Someone who can contribute their talent to our Eagan location. To provide victims of disaster with immediate restoration services and outstanding customer services, it is important to have only the best, most dependable employees who have great attitudes and flexible schedules. As a Shop Technician you will report to our Shop Manager and assist in an array of duties. From performing basic vehicle maintenance, regular equipment maintenance, service vehicle cleaning, picking up and dropping off equipment at various jobsites, etc.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Inspecting and assessing the functionality of machines, systems, and partsPerform routine and preventative maintenance on equipmentRepairing or replacing broken or malfunctioning components of equipmentReading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceComplying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areasDocumenting and keeping detailed records of preventative maintenance, repairs, and parts ordersAssist in vehicle and equipment trackingBasic lube tech skills, I.E. changing oil, tires, brake job, etc.Order and install parts as neededPickup and drop off equipment for maintenanceMaintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performedAssist in the installation of new equipmentWork closely with the operations team to understand equipment usage and schedule maintenance appropriatelyPosition Requirements:Ability to perform manual and physical labor (job requires heavy lifting)Valid driver's license and clean driving record (DMV)Available to work overtime and respond to emergency situationsWillingness to work overtime and work flexible hours as neededDemonstrated ability to run productionAble to use hand tools and electric tools safely and effectivelyAble to effectively communicate both in writing and verballyExperience in the restoration industry with solid skills is highly preferred but will trainMust be able to lift 50 lbs.Bilingual a plus!Benefits Offered:Paid Time OffHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceRetirement (based on plan requirements)Company paid mobile phoneCompetitive hourly ratesIncentive PayNOTE: Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check - requiredWe are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regards to race, ethnicity, religion, color, sex (including child birth, breast feeding and related medical conditions), gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, uniform service member and veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, age, protected medical condition, genetic information, disability, or any other protected status in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
