Communications Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Communications Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our communications department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to support our organization's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in the development and execution of internal and external communication plans
• Create and edit content for various platforms, including newsletters, social media, and the company website
• Coordinate and manage communication projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to brand guidelines
• Support the planning and execution of company events and press conferences
• Maintain and update the organization's social media presence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and create cohesive messaging
• Monitor and report on communication metrics and analytics
• Assist in the development of presentation materials for executive leadership
• Respond to media inquiries and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of communication processes and best practices

Qualifications include:

• 2-3 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with social media platforms and content management systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Express, inDesign) preferred.
• Knowledge of communications best practices and industry trends
• Familiarity with brand management and corporate messaging
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies

Salary for this position is anticipated to range between $64,000–$75,000. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
