Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Worker and be a vital part of building durable, high-quality structures! In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to concrete installation, finishing, and related construction activities.

Duties

• Prepare and set forms for pouring concrete using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to ensure precise dimensions and alignment.
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and heavy equipment safely to facilitate efficient pouring and placement of concrete.
• Install reinforcement materials such as rebar and metal studs to reinforce concrete structures according to blueprints and safety standards.
• Finish concrete surfaces with techniques including troweling, smoothing, caulking, and applying textures or coatings for aesthetic and functional purposes.
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately to execute tasks like masonry, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and roof repairs.
• Perform demolition, restoration, or renovation work involving concrete structures while adhering to safety protocols.
• Use hand tools and power tools for tasks such as cutting, shaping, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, plastering, and metal framing.
• Conduct heavy lifting and material handling safely on construction sites while coordinating with team members for efficient workflow.
• Operate heavy machinery including cranes or loaders when required for large-scale projects involving concrete pumping or site preparation.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while ensuring compliance with safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete installation or related trades such as masonry or framing.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation (including heavy machinery), and construction techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, formwork systems, and finishing techniques specific to concrete work.
• Knowledge of rebar installation, steel reinforcement placement, metal stud framing, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and roofing is highly desirable.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting; ability to stand or walk for extended periods; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for transporting materials or equipment when necessary.
• Certifications in OSHA safety standards or heavy equipment operation are a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications is encouraged.
