Sourdough & Co. is a fast-casual restaurant known for artisan sandwiches served on authentic San Francisco sourdough bread. Our Progress Ridge Townsquare restaurant is the first Portland metro location and is locally owned and operated. From preparing quality food to delivering friendly service and supporting teammates during busy shifts, this role is essential to the energy and atmosphere of the restaurant. What You’ll Do Prepare sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, soups, and other menu items accurately and efficiently Work across multiple stations including cashier, sandwich assembly, salad/flatbread prep, and back bar/meat station Provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service Take customer orders and process payments accurately using the POS system Help maintain fast order turnaround times while ensuring food quality and accuracy Restock ingredients, packaging, and supplies throughout the shift Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures Keep workstations, dining areas, and restaurant spaces clean and organized Assist with opening, closing, and shift transition responsibilities Communicate effectively with managers and teammates regarding customer needs, food safety concerns, or operational issues Participate in trainings and team meetings as assigned Support teammates and jump in wherever needed during busy periods What We’re Looking For This role may be structured as either full-time or part-time depending on candidate availability, experience, and operational needs. Flexibility in scheduling and availability is highly valued, particularly during the restaurant’s opening and early growth period.
