We are looking for a Custodian to support our EMI team located in Alpharetta, GA.
Key Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors throughout production, office, and common areas
Empty trash and recycling receptacles and dispose of waste per facility procedures
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and locker areas daily
Dust and wipe down surfaces, equipment exteriors, and fixtures
Clean windows, glass partitions, and doors as needed
Restock paper products, soap, and other consumable supplies
Perform minor building maintenance tasks (replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures) and report larger repair needs
Maintain outdoor walkways, entrances, and parking areas, including sweeping and litter removal
Follow safety data sheets (SDS) and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals
Operate and maintain custodial equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums, pressure washers)
Respond promptly to spills or safety hazards on the shop floor
Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow/ice removal or landscaping upkeep, as needed
Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided
Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and equipment
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety guidelines
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Basic reading and math skills for reading labels and mixing cleaning solutions safely
Physical Demands & Work Environment

Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying indoor/outdoor temperatures
Work performed in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and machinery
May require occasional work at heights (using a ladder) with proper safety precautions
