Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, using standardized diagnostic tools. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), considering each client's specific goals and circumstances. Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies. Facilitate discussions that empower clients to take charge of their mental health. Continuously monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback. Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating physical and mental health strategies. Engage in professional development by staying informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, applying new knowledge to enhance patient care. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of client trust and protection. Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuing education initiatives to foster a culture of learning and improvement within the organization. Advocate for clients’ mental health needs both within the community and at an administrative level to promote awareness and reduce stigma associated with mental illness. Patient Population / Client Focus The client population served by Breakthrough Healthcare Wellness includes individuals facing mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and related issues. Qualifications A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is necessary for this position. Demonstrated ability to establish secure and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients, characterized by exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and struggles. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities associated with telehealth service delivery. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, experience in addiction counseling or working with clients struggling with substance use disorders is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth technologies and protocols will be advantageous in ensuring effective service delivery in a remote setting. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
