Rehabilitation Nurse

Job Description

The Rehabilitation Nurse provides specialized nursing care for patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. This role focuses on maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. Nurses will work collaboratively within a medical team to ensure individualized treatment tailored to each patient's specific needs, including conditions such as stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injuries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop tailored care plans.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as required.
• Monitor and document patient progress in compliance with rehabilitation protocols.
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Support patients in daily living activities to enhance recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Rehabilitation Nurse.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid RN license.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, offering weekly guaranteed hours. Weekend hours are included.
