Position Overview
Sequoia Services is hiring aSkid Steer / Front-End Loader Operator & Construction Laborerto support active construction projects. This role combinesequipment operation and hands-on labor, making it ideal for candidates who are versatile, dependable, and team-oriented.
What Youll Do
Equipment Operation
- Operateskid steer, front-end loader, and similar equipmentsafely and efficiently
- Perform material handling, loading/unloading, grading, and site cleanup
- Assist with excavation, backfilling, and fine grading tasks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
General Labor Duties
- Perform hands-on construction tasks including:
- Shoveling, raking, and hand grading
- Installing erosion control measures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Safety & Teamwork
- Follow allOSHA standards and company safety policies
- Participate in daily safety meetings (toolbox talks)
- Work closely with supervisors and crew members to meet production goals
What Were Looking For
- 13+ yearsexperience operating skid steer, loader, or similar equipment
- Experience inconstruction, site work, grading, or earthmoving preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Valid drivers license required (CDL a plus)
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry50+ lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work on uneven terrain
- Frequently enter and exit heavy equipment
