You'll work across the stack, touching both the backend and frontend, to create a seamless experience for both brands and customers.This is a high-ownership role—you'll have the flexibility to shape technical decisions, contribute across different areas, and drive key projects from start to finish. Whether you love backend architecture, frontend UX, or a mix of both, there's room to have an impact wherever you're strongest.We build on a modern TypeScript-based stack, including NestJS, Prisma, Bull, LangChain, and GraphQL on the backend, with React and Next.js powering the frontend. That said, we value flexibility and ownership—if you have strong opinions on tools or frameworks, we want to hear them.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and performant full-stack applicationsOptimize performance, reliability, and security across the stackParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-makingBalance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible resultsAbility to work independently, solve complex problems, and take ownership of projects from concept to implementationDevelop actionable roadmaps for new capabilities, and work with the engineering team to execute on that roadmapReport directly to our Chief Technology OfficerQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical fieldMust be able to commit to at least 3 days/week in person in our Boston, MA office locationStrong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScriptExperience with React and Next.js, or similar frontend frameworksExperience with backend frameworks for Node.js (e.g., NestJS or similar)Familiarity with databases and ORMs (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Prisma, etc.)Strong willingness to learn and work across both frontend and backend technologiesNice-to-have: Experience at a fast-growing startup or similar environmentBonus Points IfYou have cool open-source contributionsYou thrive when things move fastYou've seen a mountain goatBenefitsHybrid work flexibility with the opportunity to WFH 2 days/weekFull healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision)Flexible PTO (at least 15 days / year recommended)At least 1 company retreat annually$500 expense reimbursement for qualified fitness and outdoor recreation activitiesReady To Join?Let's do this!
