Job Summary: The Sales Application Engineer plays a critical role in supporting customers and driving business growth by delivering technical solutions that meet customer requirements. In this customer-facing position, you will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams to develop proposals, support customer inquiries, process orders, and ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical resource for customers and internal teams.
• Respond to customer inquiries and support product selection, applications, pricing, and order status.
• Review RFQs and develop accurate quotations and technical proposals.
• Process and manage customer orders within ERP systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful order execution.
• Develop bills of material and manufacturing documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in Applications Engineering, Technical Sales Support, Inside Sales, Customer Support, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• 1-2 years experience with AutoCad drawings of varying complexity
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.
• The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
• Experience with ERP and order management systems preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent technical problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
