Make an impact in the lives of K-8 students as an Occupational Therapist supporting a vibrant learning community for the full school year! This contract role offers the flexibility to work onsite or through teletherapy, within the welcoming environment of a public charter school serving the area near Columbia, SC.

As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to empower students, foster independence, and support every child's unique strengths. Your skills and expertise will help create positive outcomes for young learners, while you enjoy a consistent full-time schedule during school hours, 8am–4pm.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Occupational Therapist license
• Experience providing school-based OT services, especially in K-8 settings
• Familiarity with both onsite and teletherapy delivery methods
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to helping students succeed in an inclusive, supportive environment
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to accommodate diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-8 students
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and attend required meetings
• Use evidence-based practices to deliver engaging and effective interventions
• Adapt strategies for students with varying abilities and backgrounds
