Senior Director of Compliance

Our client is a Bitcoin-focused operating company. Designed to pair one of the largest Bitcoin treasuries in the public markets with operating businesses, aims to provide shareholders with direct, capital-efficient exposure to Bitcoin through a growing Bitcoin-native platform.is based in Austin, Texas, with teams in New York City and Miami. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Compliance to lead the development, implementation, and administration of the company’s compliance program. As a foundational leader in this function, you will design and administer the compliance frameworks, policies, and scalable systems required to navigate the complex and evolving compliance landscape for public companies. You will serve as the primary compliance partner to executive leadership and will report to the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Your Key Responsibilities Compliance Leadership Design and scale the company’s compliance program and risk management framework to support rapid business growth across multiple business domains while mitigating compliance risk. Recruit, build, and lead a foundational, high-performing compliance team. Partner strategically with business, legal and finance teams to embed compliance-by-design into all new business verticals. Ethics and Governance Maintain, enforce, and periodically update the company's Code of Conduct and internal ethics Design and lead company-wide compliance training programs to foster a culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance. Develop, implement, and administer the company’s compliance reports to the Board and Audit Operational Compliance Maintain and administer all company policies and procedures. Oversee core operational compliance functions, including AML/KYC and sanctions screening. Manage public communications compliance, ensuring all marketing, PR, and social media materials meet applicable regulatory standards and internal company policy requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
