CAD/BIM Technician

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a CAD/BIM technician. Responsibilities Preparing civil/environmental engineering design drawings and construction plans Completing minor design calculations Collecting and reviewing data provided by equipment vendors for inclusion into design documents Preparing record drawings utilizing as-built redlines and other construction record data Reviewing for quality assurance and quality control Maintaining company CAD standards Attend internal project meetings Some travel may be required Successful candidates must have Associate degree (or higher) in CAD, engineering technology or related field and two (2) years of relevant experience --OR-- If no degree, must have at least four (4) years of relevant experience The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following CAD design software, Civil 3D (preferred), Plant 3D, and/or Revit Water/wastewater projects (pipelines, stormwater treatment or conveyance, treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, stormwater grading) Organizational skills Working with team members in different offices Microsoft Office software If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at Benefits Mead & Hunt proudly offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401K plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistance program.
