Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

Registered Nurse – Emergency Nursing

Schedule: Days 4am-4:30pm

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure in good standing in the state.
• 1 year experience as an Emergency Department nurse preferred.
• ACLS, PALS, and CPR certification.
• NRP and TNCC required within one year of hire date.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized patient assessments, prioritizing based on immediate condition or needs, and notify supervising nurse and physician of abnormal findings.
• Develop and implement an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Perform treatments as ordered by physicians accurately and timely.
• Document patient assessment findings and nursing interventions consistently and accurately.
• Ensure care is delivered in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner.
• Maintain confidentiality in all areas related to patient and facility staff.

Compliance / Notes:

• Attends meetings as required.
• Reports to work on time and as scheduled; completes work in designated time.
