This role combines inventory management, light technical troubleshooting, and customer support within industrial and manufacturing environments. As a Tooling & Inventory Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our customers' manufacturing operations by ensuring their tool and MRO vending systems are fully stocked, functional, and reliable. We provide training to help you confidently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial vending machines located at customer facilities. While many issues can be handled remotely, this role also includes onsite visits for installations, inventory replenishment, and hands-on service. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory & Logistics Maintain accurate inventory levels across customer vending machines Replenish stock based on usage data and customer demand Pick, pack, and prepare products for delivery or restocking Receive, sort, and organize incoming materials Technical Support (Training Provided) Set up, program, and troubleshoot industrial vending machines Monitor machine performance remotely and resolve issues Perform onsite installation, maintenance, and repairs as needed Customer Support Respond to service requests and create/log service tickets Communicate with customer teams in a professional and timely manner Coordinate with sales and account teams to improve service and product offerings Experience and Skills This position is a strong fit if you: Have experience in inventory, warehouse, or tool crib environments Enjoy hands-on work with some technical troubleshooting Are comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule Like a mix of physical work and customer interaction Want to grow within an industrial, supply chain, or technical service role Required Qualifications Age 21+ (company vehicle use) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High School Diploma or GED Basic computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Excel, Teams) Preferred Experience Inventory management, warehouse, or stock control experience Experience in manufacturing, industrial supply, or machine shop environments Familiarity with tools, PPE, or MRO products Experience with inventory systems, ERP, or vending/VMI platforms Field service or route-based work experience What Success Looks Like You keep machines fully stocked and running without issues Customers trust you and rely on your responsiveness You stay organized and handle multiple priorities effectively You solve problems quickly with minimal supervision Additional Details Travel: ~20% (local, using company vehicle) Work Environment: Combination of warehouse, field service, and customer sites This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
