ASSEMBLER- 1ST/2nd Shift

Assembler - 2nd Shift This position is responsible for the production of high-quality medical devices, primarily within a clean room environment. The role involves the formulation of polymers and spray coating formulations, production of medical devices using microscopes, and operation of various equipment and machinery. Responsibilities Operate machinery to produce medical devices that meet specifications. Follow manufacturing instructions and update relevant job documentation accurately for traceability. Prepare products for packing and sterilization. Inspect products using a microscope. Ensure compliance with GMPs and set up coating machines. Coat, inspect, and fold balloon catheters. Prepare excipient and spray coating formulations, and test them. Package sterile and non-sterile finished or semi-finished goods. Identify supplies that need replenishment. Build components needed for top-level work orders. Complete required cleaning activities. Essential Skills Proficiency in English at a medium level. Willingness to work overtime and on weekends. Comfortable working with chemicals and standing for the entire shift. Experience with microscope inspection. 1+ year of experience in the medical device manufacturing industry. Familiarity with cleanroom and gowning/de-gowning processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent education. The shift includes two 30-minute breaksone off the clock for lunch and another on the clock. The role requires adherence to cleanroom gowning protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
