Details Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) setting with 52 beds Day and night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod Patient ratios average 3:1, with low acuity patients at 5:1 and team nursing approach for pediatric patients Uses Alaris IV pumps and Meditech EMR Performs IV starts, medication administration, procedural sedations, and pediatric care Shift schedule is 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM 13-week assignment length Requirements Active KS or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department RN experience required BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required CPI Blue Card certification required Meditech EMR experience preferred Experience in a 52-bed or larger ER preferred No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months US SSN and DOB required for consideration One professional reference required Additional Information Fast-paced ER environment suited for adaptable, quick-learning nurses Young, diverse care team culture Expectation to scan patient and medication barcodes at every administration Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-749015.
