Title: Manufacturing Team Leader

Location: Box 268 , E Lincoln St, White Hall IL 62092

Job Summary:
Supervise personnel and production operations to ensure safe, high-quality, compliant, and efficient manufacturing while promoting team engagement, meeting production schedules, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all group functions meet Corporate, APHIS, and cGMP quality aseptic standards and comply with departmental SOPs.
• Provide leadership and accountability to meet production schedules and financial commitments.
• Ensure proper training and safe, environmentally acceptable facility operations.
• Ensure objectives and goals are clearly understood by department personnel.
• Investigate process excursions/deviations and production issues utilizing Right First Time (RFT) tools and implement corrective actions to eliminate root causes.
• Initiate and implement ideas to improve production process reliability, quality, safety, and product cost.
• Assist in planning production and personnel.
• Assist with technical projects within areas of responsibility.
• Support filling, packaging, and miscellaneous site functions through planning transactions.

Education & Experience:

• BS in biological sciences or related discipline.
• Two years supervisory and 3+ years bio/pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Fundamental understanding and experience with cleanroom environments, aseptic manufacturing principles, and general packaging operations.

• Knowledge of 9CFR and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Technical knowledge and/or expertise in microbiological techniques, sterilization, aseptic manufacturing, cleanroom behaviors, and validation principles.
• Understanding of SOPs, cGMPs, and OSHA regulations.
